Children at St. Joseph’s receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation as members of St. Colman’s parish.
The Sacramental policy is in line with the Diocesan policy of being “Parish based-family centred-school supported.” Children receive these Sacraments when you, the parents, think your child is ready. Reconciliation and Eucharist cannot be received before Grade Three.
Any queries regarding the Sacraments can be raised with the Principal. For students to receive the sacraments, they must be baptised and a Baptism certificate is to be provided. A Baptism program is available for those who have not yet been baptised and wish to receive this sacrament.
